Operation Dudula has said that it will appeal the ruling of the Johannesburg High Court, which mandated that it cease its campaign of denying public healthcare services to “undocumented immigrants.”
At a press conference in Parktown on Thursday, Zandile Dubula, the movement’s leader, informed the media about the latest events impacting their operations.
According to Dubula, the movement would abide by the court decision and immediately stop its contentious campaign at public healthcare institutions and schools while their legal team evaluates the ruling.According to Dubula, the movement would “continue its work of defending the rights of South Africans, whose rights are not being prioritized by the government and the country’s justice system, within the parameters of the law.”
“We will never stop working. We have several campaigns, such as the takeover of South African homes by syndicates, collaborating with the legal system, banks, and other law enforcement organizations that are stealing homes from South Africans and households headed by children,” she continued.
