HRH Kumaga Jor, the traditional leader of the Yelwata community in Benue State, has supported efforts by US President Donald Trump to put an end to purported Christian genocide in Nigeria. He agreed with Trump that Christians are still being killed in Nigeria.
“The attack on his domain as well as other attacks in Benue State were carried out by Muslim terrorists,” he claimed.
Jor encouraged the US President to take immediate action and thanked him for helping Christians in Nigeria.
“The situation remains dire as killings go on almost daily with many villages sacked and occupied by the terrorists,” he said.
He bemoaned the fact that the original residents of Benue State are now seeking safety in camps for internally displaced people, or IDPs.
