A Lagos High Court has dismissed the N1 billion defamation lawsuit filed by actress Iyabo Ojo against fellow actress Lizzy Anjorin. The suit, which drew wide attention on social media, alleged that Anjorin had made damaging statements about Ojo on multiple online platforms.
In its ruling, the court stated that the evidence presented did not sufficiently prove malicious intent or sustained reputational damage. The decision puts an end for now to one of Nollywood’s most publicized celebrity feuds.
