Former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s claim that the Federal Government was paying bandits has prompted Datti Baba-Ahmed, the 2023 Labour Party’s vice presidential candidate, to call for an investigation into the matter.
This statement was made by Datti Baba-Ahmed on Tuesday as she was a guest on the Channels Television show Politics Today.
He also rejected the rejoinder to El-Rufai’s remark that was released by Nuhu Ribadu, the office of the National Security Adviser, or NSA. He said, “Nuhu Ribadu was never a policeman; he is not a qualified lawyer; he should not be in that office if the so-called office of the National Security Adviser, or NSA, would take this statement lightly.”
El-Rufai ought to be filing statements to the courts and the police, he said.
